Background

The client, a global media organisation, required a strategic partner for their service management platform support. The existing application management was not aligned to overall business requirements. In addition to this, the client was clear about the need for continual service improvement capabilities, not just reactive break-fix activities.

The Solution

Xcession worked with a global IT Systems Integrator to design a cost-effective solution to support the client. Xcession provided the client with application management of the whole ITSM toolset (BMC Remedy On Demand, Truesight Orchestrator, Truesight Operations Management and Truesight Capacity Management) as part of a much wider Application Management service.

In addition to the core application management element, an extra facility was included that provided the client with a number of enhancement days to draw down from. This extra value for the client provided them with flexibility to meet business demand in a friction-less manner.
